Rent monthly

Simple monthly payments based on the instrument's value. No deposit, no surprise fees.

Build credit

Every payment earns rent-to-own credit. The earlier you decide, the more credit you've built.

Decide to purchase? Your accumulated credits are applied to the selling price. Or just return it — no penalty.

Rent-to-Own Credits

Your rental payments aren't lost — they build toward ownership.

When you decide to buy, the credit rate at that moment applies retroactively to all your payments. Buy early = higher credit on every month you've paid. Note: your monthly rent is based on the instrument's MSRP, but the buyout price is based on our selling price, which is often lower.

Example: Buying After 3 Months

Selling price: $249

Monthly rent: $41 (15% of $270)

Credit rate at month 3: 60%

Total rent paid: 3 × $41 = $123

Total credits: $123 × 60% = $73.80

You pay: $249 − $73.80 = $175.20

Good to Know

Who can rent?

Available to all active students and their families with an account in good standing. A valid Quebec driver's licence and a credit card are required — both must be in the same person's name.

Returns

Return anytime — no penalty, no questions asked.

Upgrades

Want to upgrade? Swap for a different instrument in the same family, on the same family account.

Payment

Monthly billing via credit card. If a payment fails but is later recovered, your streak is preserved.

Rental FAQ

Is there a deposit?

No. Zero deposit. You just start renting.

Can I return the instrument at any time?

Yes. There's no minimum rental period and no early return fee.

How does the buyout work?

When you decide to buy, we subtract your accumulated rent-to-own credits from the selling price. That's your buyout price.

Do I need to be a student to rent?

Rentals are available to active students and their family members with an account in good standing.

Which instruments are available for rental?

We carry guitars, violins, ukuleles, keyboards, and more. Contact us to check availability for your specific instrument.

How do I book a practice room?

Contact us by phone or in person to reserve a room. Rooms are available in 15-minute blocks — book as much or as little time as you need.

What equipment is in the practice rooms?

Every room has a digital stage piano. Depending on the room, you'll also find acoustic pianos, drum sets, guitars, bass, violins, or space for voice and wind practice.
